• How to Start a Blog That Matters:  I won a free pass to this course and look at it as one of the most valuable items I have ever won.  This course is a MUST for anyone starting an online presence.

• Aweber: You NEED an email opt-in service, and Aweber is the best. This is what I use to build my email list.  Affordable, simple to use, effective. They have every tool you need to create an auto-responder sequence, do broadcast emails, and create opt-in forms. Simply put, a must have.

• LeadPlayer: LeadPlayer was designed from the ground up to help you build your audience, build your list, and make more sales with video.

• LeadPages: The easiest way to create landing pages, launch pages, sales pages, and other conversion pages for your website. Incredible tutorials, incredible support, it is all I use here at EntrepreneurOnFire.

• Virtual Staff Finder: So my problem was, I needed a legit virtual assistant.  I know Filipinos are renown for their loyalty and hard work.  However, I wanted to know for sure my VA was a good person and had a stable work environment. • Pop-Up Domination: Yes it is not the least annoying thing in the world, but you will be SHOCKED when you see how much your email conversions go up with this guy installed.  I mean shocked.  Numbers don’t lie, building your email list is King, and you can set this so it only appears for first time visitors.  I use it on all my sites.

Online Backup

• Carbonite: This should really be everybody’s first step.  For a few dollars a month, you will have Carbonite automatically back up everything you do, real time, and in the cloud.  This is incredible for a number of scenarios.  Computer crashed…Carbonite is there.  You want to migrate computers?  Simply press one button and everything from your old cpu will be seamlessly placed on your new cpu.  Last example…what if you are on vacation and want to access a document?  Log into carbonite from any cpu and grab it…it’s waiting!  Don’t delay on this one.  Peace of mind now!  Carbonite!

• Libsyn.com: This is where I host all of my podcasts. Libsyn was created by podcasters, for podcasters, and I would trust no other site with my precious MP3s.  **BONUS ALERT**  Use the coupon code “Fire” while signing up and receive the rest of the current month AND the next month for free :-) This could be a savings of over $150 if you go with the plan I currently use.

Cloud Accounting

• FreshBooks: The fastest way to invoice clients, track time & run your small business in the cloud.  I use it and I love it. They have the best interface I seen,great customer support, and an awesome explainer video.  Nuff said!
• BodeTree: BodeTree is a financial analysis, reporting, and optimization tool designed for small businesses on the QuickBooks platform.  You simply have to check out their explainer video…it rocks!

Website and Blogging

• WordPress: This is simply the best Blog Publishing Platform available. It is free, extremely customizable and has an incredible support system.  Make sure you click the link or the image and go to the .org site, not the .com site.  Very different animals.

• E-Junkie:  If you are looking for a shopping cart and/or buy now buttons in order to sell downloads and tangible goods on your website, look no further.  E-Junkie has a simple interface, integrates well with PayPal, and has a great support staff.

• ClickBank:  The Internet’s leading retailer of digital products. Whether you’re looking to sell, promote, or shop for digital goods, ClickBank will allow you to do so quickly and effectively.

• Paypal: Paypal is a must to accept payments through the above shopping carts.

• Google Analytics: Google’s free website tracking and analytical tool. A must have for anyone with any type of website.

• Clicky:Clicky is just like Google Analytics, except it’s easier to use, and you can view how many people are on your site (and what they are doing) in real time! Your first site is free.

• Google Adsense: Make money by placing relevant ads on your website that are generated from advertisers using Google Adwords. This is free to use, but you have to register for an account.

• Google Adwords: If you want to begin advertising on Google, you can select keywords and locations and you pay each time someone clicks on your advertisement.

• SpeechPad: This is the service I use to get transcripts done for my podcasts and videos.
